Elliem Ltd was formed in 2010 by management systems expert Jennie Clark. Jennie's goal was to establish a consultancy business which could provide a very personal and focussed service to SME's who were seeking to establish, improve or audit management systems. In 2014 Jennie's husband, Bernard, joined the company to provide additional focus on safety and environmental issues. The business also works with a number of specialists on an Associate basis. Jennie and Bernard's daughter Eleanor is the latest recruit to the business and is providing Administrative support in between studying at college. In January we were all delighted to see Jennie's first book - a textbook for ISO9001 issued in print, you can buy it from Amazon together with further books covering ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO22301 which appeared in rapid succession.
With many years of experience of developing, implementing, updating and auditing a wide range of management systems (including safety, quality, environment, business continuity, energy management etc) our team have all the experience and skills necessary to provide businesses with hands on and up to date information to help them grow and develop. We are actively working with new standards too - currently engaging with a number of organisations involved with the development of ISO45001 compliant systems, and now moving on to look at business resilience with ISO22301- very topical!
With over 30 years experience of working in a wide range of business environments, we are able to bring personal experience of engineering, HR, timber, construction, infrastructure, highways and general management to our work.
A Chartered Quality Professional and Registered Consultant with the CQI, Jennie is also NEBOSH trained and has practical experience of operational safety and environmental management gained in tough working environments. Jennie is an IRCA registered Lead Auditor. Bernard Clark is also a trained Lead Auditor Quality (9001:2015), internal Safety and Environmental auditor, and holds NEBOSH certification.
